Maybe when you feel like switching tasks, look inwards and discern if it is a wholesome impulse or not. But this impedes the flow of activity! It feels way more life-allowing to follow each one. Is that a trap?
The "ADHD is good" view
https://www.hunterinafarmersworld.com/p/restless-minds-in-a-conforming-world
I'm partially convinced by this view, sent it to dad, who thinks my undisciplined jumping from topic to topic that arises when I take my brain-muzzle off is a mental disease. I don't know whose right. I'm willing to accept that it might be him. But I must stay agnostic for now. I like this writers argument.
The rebuttal would be:
- are we actually born into hunter mode? or is it just a pattern we're stuck in?
- and is it really necessary to be in hunter mode 24/7? just because of ai? is it just the inability to turn off stress?
One way to resolve this problem is to ask: are the instincts good? Do they lead to what's important (rabbit-holing pokemon strategy vs environmental health policy (but how to decide what's important...))? Can they purified so that they do?
Nietzsche said happiness is being able to trust one's instincts. Not needing to repress the vitality in onesself.

Incautiously Optimistic: Positively-Valenced Cognitive Avoidance in Adult ADHD
"Everything will work out" -> less use of skill.
Perhaps if I cemented in myself what is important, and who I want to be, I'd be a bit less scattered. And instead of impulsively jumping into things with the power of the computer, I could carefully weight goals realistically, rather than "incautiously optimistically".
A spiritual view, or law of attraction view, seems very, very, conducive to "incautious optimism". And lack of skill use... and something only working with hard reality can help with.
Negotiate with a higher goal. Treat your parts like an internal company. Internal Corporate System.
Executive Function
What actually is 'executive function'? What is a traditional correlate of this?

very interesting ^^
heart fire (hypersensitivity) or liver fire (brain over-activity) or kidney yin (overall weakness)
heart fire and liver fire can also result from kidney yin deficiency

Too many neurons packed in the brain, everything is super connected, creates restlessness. Antidote is nature and lots of physical activity, eliminating the extra neurons. He is against ADHD drugs. The medication dulls the whole body.
Real cure: lots of exercise in nature. The body will purge the excess neurons on its own.

- blinking increasing time dilation
- blinking affects how you are 'binning time'
- virgo his high blinking, pisces is low blinking
- describes a Trataka type practice, even says not blinking trains focus more than blinking, and says it helps create focus
